ASHRAE Toronto Curling Event + Tour 

Hosted by the Membership Promotion, Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA) and Refrigeration Committees

We've got an exciting event coming up at the Toronto Cricket & Curling Club. Save the date on your calendar and come join us for an afternoon filled with awesome networking and curling fun.

The facility manager will take us on a tour of the ice-rink equipment prior to our games. They'll give us a look into how ice plants and operators keep the ice sheets keen for curling stones and the best playability. Going into understanding the loop temperatures maintained, humidity and space temperature impact, and the challenges and benefits of maintaining ice throughout their ice season!

Whether you're a beginner or a pro, no worries – we'll have an instructor to help us all learn and enjoy the game! The will teach and take us through some games to learn how to curl!

But most importantly, this event is all about making new friends and expanding your professional network in the HVAC industry. Get ready for lots of laughs and a great time!

After the tour and games, we'll be heading out to a nearby pub, a short 14-min walk away to The Pheasant: A Firkin Pub, to relax and have some drinks. Food and beverages are not covered however.
